The alleged operators of Firestick Steve and KTV Streams have joined the Primestreams IPTV lawsuit.
Both Firestick Steve and KTV Streams were popular IPTV services used by thousands of cord-cutters across the world.
Initial Primestreams IPTV Lawsuit
Back in May of 2022, the operators of Primestreams IPTV were targeted in a piracy lawsuit for copyright infringement.
Primestreams IPTV Operators Targeted in Piracy Lawsuit
DISH Network was the broadcaster who filed this piracy lawsuit against Primestreams IPTV for breaches of the Federal Communications Act among other charges.
This original lawsuit is still ongoing and if DISH ends up victorious, this could lead to Primestreams IPTV paying millions of dollars in damages.

Fast forward to now, and two other popular IPTV names are being thrown into the mix.
KTV Streams
KTV Streams (also known as KTV Hosting) was one of the first IPTV services to be tied to the Primestreams operation.
The alleged operator of KTV Streams is named William Everly and DISH claims that Everly resold Primestreams subscriptions.
In other terms, Everly and KTV Streams was acting as a “reseller” to Primestreams IPTV, which is a common practice in this business.

If you recall the details from the original Primestreams IPTV lawsuit, the operators were processing the payments through a registered LLC.
Funny enough, William Everly was using the same practice with KTV Streams while he processed funds through a registered LLC in Ohio.
Firestick Steve
In addition to KTV Streams, another IPTV service on the radar of DISH Network in this investigation was Firestick Steve.
Firestick Steve was a heavily promoted IPTV service on YouTube, social media, and other areas on the Internet.
In the original complaint filed against Primestreams in May, Firestick Steve was mentioned alongside Bing TV and Better Than Cable TV as “rebrandings” of the service.
Now, where this story gets interesting is that the operator of KTV Streams (William Everly) apparently acquired Firestick Steve’s customer list in April 2022 and then merged the two IPTV services.

When Firestick Steve suddenly shut down, former customers received emails claiming that someone new had taken over.
KTV Streams was revealed as the new provider and people were able to log in with their old credentials.
The complaint from DISH Network in the new lawsuit states the following:
“Everly’s acquisition of the FSS customer base included both end users and resellers of the FSS service. On information and belief, FSS users were migrated to Everly’s KTV Streams service and purchased Device Codes from Everly in the same manner as other KTV Service users.”
In the end, William Everly is accused of large-scale breaches of both the Federal Communications Act and the anti-circumvention provisions of the DMCA, just like the defendants in the Primestreams IPTV case.
While the amount in damages isn’t reported in the lawsuit, one could assume that millions of dollars seems realistic.
Overall, it will be interesting to see what other live TV services are next on the radar of DISH Network.

It’s impossible for IPTV Wire to determine whether unverified IPTV services, apps, or add-ons hold the proper licensing.
If and when an IPTV service is deemed illegal, we notify our users immediately and update reports on our website like this one to reflect that information.
